　　本剧为诗选类剧集，主创明确表示每季一个新故事。　　第二季由来自《善地》的William Jackson Harper担任主演。Harper将饰演Marcus Watkins，刚和一个本以为会是自己真爱的女人，结束了一段多年的关系。突然爱情失意的他，重新开始寻找属于自己的另一半。　　第一季回归客串的卡司有Anna Kendrick、Zoë Chao、Peter Vack和Nick Thune。

　　NBC宣布续订喜剧《善地 The Good Place》第四季，新季尚未知多少集，但如果照惯例的话应该也是半季13集左右。新的一季将作为最终季于2019年9月播出。
